St Andys - new venue within the heart of BingarA

St Andys (formerly St Andrews Uniting church) is a beautiful old building that opened its doors in 1904 for the first time as the Presbyterian church of Bingara. In 2025 the building and its grounds were purchased by us (Greg & Uli). We live locally and just enjoy being part of the Bingara community. 

Besides St Andys no longer being an official location for a congregation, we nevertheless wish to honour the roots and motivation to why St Andys came into being. We wish to continue to nurture it as a place of connection and coming together in good will and harmony as it was intended upon its conception in 1904. 

Furthermore St Andys also features our Saltbush Sunday School and a coffee van/dry bar on its grounds that are also for hire. St Andys makes a rustic and picturesque  venue with its very welcoming ambience and old charm. The former church has great acoustics and also features a comfortable little nook with a small sofa and books (former vestibule). Our venue is centrally located in Bingara village with ample street parking. St Andys is walking distance to the cafes, pubs, RSL, post office and shops and also public parks and to our beautiful Gwydir River.
